Carly

Carly Fawcett is a writer, reader, editor, animator, CD burner, lesbian, gym rat, and gamer who has been writing stories since they could pick up a pencil. In May, they will earn their BA in English and Creative Writing from Western Kentucky University along with a certificate in Game Design and minors in Computer Science and Computer Animation. While in undergrad, Carly has earned awards for their creative writing and has been published in several literary magazines.

Carly's favorite job in the world has been working at the Writing Center at WKU for the last three years. Consulting with peers about writing feels like more of a pastime than a work task. They've also done work as a scriptwriter at KY Kids on the Block, writing scripts for children's puppet shows, and they are a 3-year editor for the Zephyrus creative journal. Their downtime is most often spent at the gym, with some absurd book, or listening to the greatest musical artists of all time, George Michael and Megan Thee Stallion.
